The Magic of Architectural Photography

Course Description:
Comprehensive seminar. With photos from his assignments around the world, Anderson demonstrates how you can use the power of point of view, the magic of lighting, and the effectiveness of the printed page to get the most from architectural photography. Learn how to manage major photo shoots and use lighting techniques to preserve color and create moods. Includes an explanation of usage rights and how to negotiate them to your advantage. Also includes a lighting demonstration.

Length of Seminar: 3 hours.

Fee: $1,500 plus travel expenses. All bookings require 50% deposit to guarantee date. Cancellations: 80% refund up to 45 days previous to the lecture date. Required Facilities and Equipment: Classroom-style seating in a room that can be adequately darkened for a slide presentation, that is, "light tight" like a movie theater. Slide projector and screen or white wall. Lavaliere microphone for groups of 30 or more.

Course Description: An introduction to the field of professional photography and the language of visual professionals. Learn how to get the most out of your next photo shoot when working with professional photographers, or use the information to improve your own photography. Anderson explains the terminology of his craft with photos selected from his 30-year international career.
